1807: Dec 13th, christened at St Markus Church in Lauenforde, Germany.
1827 to 1831: Probable time range for marriage to Sophia Scherff (later changed to Scharff). No records of the marriage were found in the St Markus records in Lauenforde, indicating that Sophia was probably born in a different town.
